I don't know why, but I just had the sudden urge to see what Toothless would look like as a human. For some reason I kept seeing this cute littel boy.
This time I tried out a slightly diffrent style that was a lot more free flowing than my other drawings. This one only took me 4hrs :) EDIT: Now I've started something, I couldn't help doing Astrids dragon, Stormfly, as well. I did some freelance work as a graphic artist for Telstra's Hacker-thon. My team decided to create a free-for-charity app that helps people who are losing the ability to speak. Essentially, we wanted to build an app that could record your voice saying various phrases, and then play it back to you. From there you could save the recording and assign a pre-made icon (or use one your own images) to represent that phrase/word. These are then sorted into easy-access categories such as Activities, Animals, Food&Drink, Greetings&Conversation, and Questions.
So far I've created 86 icons: Our end of year game project is finally finished. It's a dragon racing game that allows for up to four players. We're still working on getting a web build working so hopefully that will be up soon :) Here's some screenshots and our trailer |
